Swatches
Use Shopify's native swatch data first.
When a product option exposes native swatch data, Brass Archive uses its color or image. Merchants can also map common color names manually. If no visual value exists, the theme keeps an accessible text-based fallback instead of inventing a color.
- Enable product-card and product-page swatches in Theme settings.
- Add supported option names such as Color, Colour, or Finish.
- Prefer native category metafield and swatch values when available.
- Verify every variant remains keyboard selectable and visibly labeled.
App compatibility
Keep optional integrations optional.
App blocks can extend compatible sections through Shopify's theme editor. Core navigation, search, product selection, cart, checkout access, and documentation do not depend on a third-party app.
